Students can participate when their teacher is a paid member of FLAG.

What is FLAG's student engagement initiative?

FLAG is creating engaging opportunities for students to demonstrate what they can do as they progress toward language and intercultural proficiency. Activities will be held throughout the school year.

Contest: Global Expressions: Your Passport to Creativity!

Students create original art, drama, music, or poetry to express their language learning and show their commitment to global citizenship through understanding of cultures worldwide.

FLAG would like to spotlight some of our outstanding K-12 students who are in Dual Language Immersion and World Languages programs throughout the state of Georgia! Students, teachers, and other school faculty members may share information about a student they wish to nominate. All information will be read by the FLAG Board and approved by the nominator before publishing. Please ensure that students' parents have completed the required photo release form below.

Student Volunteering Opportunities 

FLAG requests participation and volunteer support from language students around the state! From helping with set up and take down to serving as runners and all around support personnel at conferences and student competition events, We Need You! All of these activities will support the FLAG mission and language students just like you! Your time volunteering can be documented for your community service/activity hours for International Skills Diploma Seal and scholarships!
